As the U.S. continues to face ongoing supply chain challenges and record demand for freight transport, logistics entrepreneur Marianna Misirian, founder of All Seasons Logistics LLC, is helping steer the industry in a new direction. In this exclusive interview, she shares her journey, vision, and insights into the evolving future of American logistics.

Jonathan: Marianna, can you tell us about your journey into logistics and what inspired you to start All Seasons Logistics LLC?

Marianna: My career began in aviation. I worked as a dispatcher at Sheremetyevo International Airport in Russia, where I coordinated flight logistics, ensured safety compliance, and managed complex scheduling. It was a high-pressure environment where even the smallest mistake could have significant consequences. That experience taught me discipline, precision, and the importance of communication in complex operations.

When I came to the U.S., I noticed that the trucking industry faced many similar challenges, such as scheduling conflicts, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations for reliability. I wanted to take the lessons I had learned in aviation and apply them to freight and moving services. In 2022, I founded All Seasons Logistics with the vision of bringing more structured, reliable, and professional service into an industry where trust is essential.

J: Your company has grown rapidly in just a few years. What would you say sets All Seasons Logistics apart from competitors?

M: Two key factors: reliability and versatility. While many companies focus on just one service, we’ve adopted a dual-service model, offering both long-distance freight and residential & commercial moving. This approach allows us to serve both businesses and families, while keeping our fleet optimized year-round. If demand for freight fluctuates, our moving division keeps our trucks running, and vice versa.

We also stand out because of our reputation with brokers. Building those partnerships takes time, and brokers know they can rely on us for on-time, damage-free delivery. That trust has been an important driver of our growth, helping us expand our fleet to eight vehicles, including three semi-trucks for long-haul freight, in just two years.

J: The American trucking industry is facing a shortage of over 78,000 drivers. How is your company responding?

M: The shortage is indeed one of the major challenges in our industry. Our response has been to focus on hiring and training qualified CDL drivers while also creating a supportive and sustainable environment for them. Drivers are at the heart of logistics, and we understand that their well-being directly affects both performance and safety.

We ensure that compliance and safety are never compromised for speed. I personally oversee fleet maintenance and scheduling to ensure that drivers have proper rest periods and clear communication. We’ve cultivated a culture where drivers feel valued, and that helps us retain good talent. By addressing these workforce challenges directly, we’re not only ensuring stability for our company, but we’re also contributing to solving a nationwide problem.

J: What role do you see All Seasons Logistics playing in strengthening the U.S. economy?

M: Logistics are critical to every sector, from manufacturing to retail to e-commerce. Without efficient freight transportation, businesses can face delays that result in lost revenue and missed opportunities. By expanding freight capacity, we help U.S. companies avoid costly disruptions and stay competitive.

Our growth also creates jobs. By Year 5, we plan to employ 29 people, including drivers, dispatchers, and customer service staff. These jobs contribute to local economies and help address the labor shortages in the logistics sector.

I also believe immigrant-founded companies like ours bring valuable perspectives. We bring new ideas, global experience, and a strong work ethic. That diversity of thought and leadership is an important asset, strengthening the U.S. economy in the long term.

J: What advice would you give to other immigrant entrepreneurs in the U.S.?

M: I would encourage them to believe in the value of their skills and experiences, even if those skills come from a different industry or country. When I first came to the U.S., I wasn’t working in trucking. But I looked at my background in aviation and saw that many of the skills—such as scheduling, compliance, and communication—are transferable.

Adaptability is also crucial. There will always be challenges—whether cultural, regulatory, or financial. But if you continue to innovate, maintain integrity, and stay open to new opportunities, things will fall into place. The U.S. rewards innovation, and there’s room for people willing to work hard and bring fresh perspectives.
