Heine Nzumafo is multifaceted, multitalented, and—like anyone working hard professionally all week—very busy. He came up with the idea of an efficient scheduling software while working full-time as an Agile Coach and launching a side gig as a Scrum Master Trainer. It took a year to develop the idea and get it into initial production as Heine built a technologically sound foundation for his endeavor. The endeavor, QueueSlot, is an upcoming scheduling solution for professionals; whether you’re an employee, assistant, manager, CEO, or overlord, you need your schedule to be accurate and flexible.
QueueSlot was driven to genesis by necessity. Around two years ago, Heine’s wife, a Financial Counselor working under consistent and strong demands from bosses, expressed frustration with her scheduling platform. Clients often canceled appointments, leaving gaps that were hard to manage without pestering her management team. Business as usual saw a decline from the losses in scheduling productivity. Heine saw a lot of flaws when taking a look at her scheduling software, specifically the absence of a waitlist and the inability to book alternate appointments.
In our digital age, it makes no sense to see modern companies refuse consciously or unknowingly to incorporate the ideal technology into all wings of their business. He saw an opportunity to leverage automation and notification technologies to solve this problem, sparking the idea for QueueSlot.
Heine has seen plenty of setbacks in the creation of his new business, and he’s not new to bouncing back after a knockdown. His first venture, Hiipe, was a chat app that, despite a successful crowdfunding campaign, did not achieve long-term success. He’s learned from the mistakes of Hiipe, and QueueSlot marks his second venture. In contrast to the $400,000 project of Hiipe, QueueSlot was developed using Agile methodologies. Heine started with a three-page PowerPoint presentation, and within seven months and under $40,000, QueueSlot had its first version on the way.
Heine immigrated to the United States from Cameroon in 1995, and his leadership skills were honed during his tenure as an Officer in the United States Army’s Signal Corps. He took advantage of the US military connection to educational programs and completed both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He’s worked in several roles such as Scrum Master, Senior Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, and Agile Coach. He currently works as an Agile Project Manager, leveraging his extensive experience to drive innovative solutions in tech. All the while in every single one of these positions, he’s grinded on his hustle project—building it from the ground up to support entrepreneurs in their scheduling. QueueSlot was and is supported by Heine’s incredible work ethic. He’s able to merge all of his work to help the business idea. His Scrum Master training program offered hands-on internships with partner companies, but it faced limitations when these companies did not provide full access to project management tools. To overcome this, Heine resourcefully set up his own remote development team. This team not only developed QueueSlot but also provided more hands-on training for Scrum Masters. Resourceful as always, he used the new program funds as a lever to lift up his project while in early development.
QueueSlot stands out from other scheduling software like Calendly, Acuity Scheduling, or Schedulicity for its increased elasticity and advanced function. Users can book alternate time slots, eliminating the need for rescheduling. Waitlists are automated for every time slot, managing bookings in real-time. This ensures seamless and efficient scheduling, reducing the loss of time and money from missed or canceled appointments. It’s a calendar that’s designed for the real world, and real world problems are always in mind with the design team. The patented multi-scheduling solution offers unlimited event setups, unlimited availability schedules, and new modern solutions to scheduling problems. Each time you set up an event in QueueSlot, you can define the parameters of the event in depth with the Event Details section, helping clue in employees, coworkers, and customers to unique events. You can also place a link for bookers on your public website that sends them to your event scheduling interface. When creating availability schedules, you can tailor multiple availabilities for different jobs, gigs, and commitments while managing overlap between them on one platform. QueueSlot opens up your schedule with efficiency.
QueueSlot is a product of Heine’s passion for digital work efficiency and Entrepreneurship. In the long term, he sees his business overcoming competitors despite their head start. He envisions using the lean approach to software development to release more innovative software solutions while simultaneously training more Scrum Masters. While doing all this work, Heine is a pastor and family man, and he assumes the title of Chief Enabling Officer of QueueSlot to reflect his hands-on, supportive leadership style. He empowers his team continually and creates an environment of collective success through disciplined training. As his team grows, the platform will be able to offer even more outstanding services. Get in touch with Heine on his website and find out what his program can offer to your business scheduling needs.
